since 2012
Established in 2012 as a response to private client demand, Meat the Fish began as a premium meat and fish home delivery service. What grew around it is a market, a kitchen, a shop and a neighbourhood ritual, from Saifi to the mountains of Faqra to the Dubai waterfront.
Today the counters carry over 100 products and counting: Australian beef, French lamb, Dutch veal, French chicken, Japanese oysters, fresh fish from the English Channel and more. The menu is written each morning, and the counters decide it.

the meat the fish story
2012 · the beginning
Established in 2012 as a response to private client demand, Meat the Fish begins as a premium meat and fish home delivery service: the best of the land and the sea, brought to the door.
the counter
The service becomes a place. A butcher and a fishmonger open a counter together, the shelves grow past 100 products, and the daily board becomes a neighbourhood ritual.
the crossing
The concept travels. London represented an important chapter in Meat the Fish's international journey, proof the idea speaks more than one language. That chapter is now closed, and lives here in the story.

Most customers will meet this website on a phone, standing outside Saifi or scrolling from the couch. The concept is designed mobile-first: the board, the basket and the checkout all work with a thumb.
And it shouldn't disappear when you visit the website. Order directly, browse the shop, catch the next drop.
a note from the studio
What you have just experienced is a proposed digital direction for Meat the Fish. The following section explains how this concept becomes the complete production platform: scope, process, timeline and investment.
Review the ProposalPart Two · Commercial Proposal
Meat the Fish has already created an exceptional food, retail and lifestyle experience. The next step is a digital platform that reflects it accurately, sells through it effectively and evolves with it.
Meat the Fish has built a remarkably strong physical brand. The food, the interiors, the product quality and the creative identity feel premium and highly considered. The current digital presence does not yet communicate the same level of quality, depth and attention to detail, and the contrast between the two experiences is significant.
There is also an opportunity to make location information easier to maintain, bring ordering directly into the website, and better present the wider retail and lifestyle experience found at locations such as Saifi.
Food ordering and retail commerce remain visually connected but operationally distinct. Food orders carry location, kitchen and delivery logic; fashion and retail orders carry inventory, sizes, shipping and returns. The platform is architected for both from day one.
The team manages locations, hours, menus, prices, availability, announcements, collections and events without a developer. Statuses are structured, scheduled and, where appropriate, automatic. Below is a working sketch of the admin experience, try changing a status.

Search is changing: customers now ask Google, ChatGPT and Instagram the same questions. The platform is structured so every answer, "best seafood in Beirut", "is Faqra open this weekend", "where to buy Captive in Lebanon", resolves to Meat the Fish with accurate, current data.
Location pages, Google Business alignment, consistent hours and addresses everywhere.
Restaurant, Menu, Product and Event schema so search engines read the board like a customer.
Question-shaped content blocks that AI assistants can quote accurately and attribute.
Fast loads on Lebanese mobile networks, image pipelines, Core Web Vitals budgets.
Most agencies would schedule what you've seen here across six to nine months. This project is built with a modern, automation-first production pipeline, the same approach that produced the working concept you just experienced, so the calendar compresses without compressing the quality.
Systems review: POS, payments, delivery operations, inventory, content. Final scope confirmation.
UX architecture, UI design across desktop and mobile, motion design, content planning with the team.
Responsive development, CMS, ordering, retail commerce, integrations, payment gateway.
Content entry, photography integration, structured data, local SEO, analytics.
Testing, deployment, staff training on the CMS and order management, handover documentation.
Two months, maximum. The complete platform, ordering and commerce included, is live within 8 weeks of kickoff. If the engagement starts with the website alone, delivery drops to a fraction of that.
This figure is not for an ordering system alone. It covers the complete informative brand website, the story, the locations, the daily board, the retail and fashion showcase, with direct ordering built right inside it, exactly as you have experienced here. A platform of this scope is normally quoted as four separate projects and delivered over most of a year. This proposal is one project, one build, one figure. It is not a menu to pick from: everything you have just experienced is included.
More time. More money. More meetings.

This quotation covers the complete production and implementation of the proposed Meat the Fish digital platform. The interactive experience shown in this presentation is a concept demonstration intended to communicate the proposed design, customer journey and functionality. Final technical scope and integration costs will be confirmed after reviewing the existing restaurant systems, payment requirements, delivery operations, product inventory and content structure.
01 · speed
Agencies quote six to nine months for this scope. The complete platform ships in 8 weeks maximum, and you're not reading a promise: the working concept you just experienced was built at that same pace.
02 · one line, always open
No account managers, no ticket queues, no "the team will get back to you." You talk directly to the person designing and building the platform, at whatever hour the restaurant business actually runs on.
03 · a customer first
I'm a regular. I know the board changes every day because I've read it standing outside Saifi. I only take on brands I genuinely love, and it shows in every detail of the work above.
04 · quality & hunger
The standard is the highest I can reach, and I'll rework the details as many times as it takes. I'm building a name, and this platform is the kind of work I want my name on. That works entirely in your favour.
From the quality of the food to the design of the spaces, Meat the Fish has created an experience customers recognise immediately. This proposal brings that same standard online: storytelling, accurate locations, direct ordering, retail, fashion and modern search visibility, in one platform.
